The Eastern Africa National Networks of AIDS and Health Service Organizations (EANNASO) is a regional body uniting and strengthening civil society (CS) across Anglophone and Lusophone Africa to address public health challenges, including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, sexual reproductive health, climate change, and pandemic preparedness. With active membership in Eastern Africa and partnerships in countries like Anglophone Africa countries, EANNASO supports civil society and community groups’ involvement in policy development, health system strengthening, and accountability. By promoting collaboration, providing technical support, and advocating for inclusive health systems, EANNASO empowers communities to play a central role in shaping health initiatives and improving health outcomes.
Currently, EANNASO hosts the Anglophone Africa Regional Learning Hub for the Global Fund. With over 20 years of experience and an organization that has over 2000+ CSOs and community groups, we have supported over 25 CSOs and community groups through technical assistance.
