Rodrick Mugishagwe fell in love with working for non-profit organizations when he was only a teenager. Inspired by a Red Cross Primary School Club, Rodrick quickly developed a deep passion for charitable work. This resolve stuck with him through college, leading him to get a Master’s Degree in Project Planning and Management from Mzumbe University in Tanzania.
Rodrick joined EANNASO in 2017 and provides support to our Technical Support Centre Program as a TB Program Officer and he also coordinates the Tanzania TB Community Forum. Rodrick also provides support to EANNASO communication. Currently Rodrick Coordinates the TB in Mines in Southern Africa (TIMS) project were EANNASO in a consortium is a second Sub Recipient under Vits Consortium. He has played the leading role in implementing the Community Rights and Gender Assessments for Tanzania leading to the development of an action plan that has feed into the National TB Strategic Plan.
Rodrick is happy spending his time to support civil society and community groups to end TB in the Eastern and Southern region.
