Ms. Yvonne Catherine Kahimbura is a social worker currently working with Eastern Africa National Network of AIDS and Health Service Organization (EANNASO) as the Policy and Advocacy Team Leader. Previously she coordinated work around the Global Fund Community Rights and Gender (GF CRG) Anglophone platform across 25 African countries. She has a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of South Wales UK, a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Uganda Christian University and post graduate Diploma in HIV Prevention and counseling from Aids Information institute Uganda. She is skilled in project management & implementation, proposal writing, Advocacy, report writing and Monitoring and Evaluation.
She has over 15 years’ experience working with civil society and communities, providing technical support and capacity development in implementation of HIV/TB, Malaria and Sexual Reproductive health Rights (SRHR) programs. Currently she sits at the East African Community Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights technical working group and a member of the EAC SRHR steering committee and an active member of the Rotary Club of Arusha-Mt Meru.
