Community, Rights, and Gender (CRG) Assessments in Tanzania (2018-2020)

In collaboration with the National TB and Leprosy Program (NTLP) and with support from the Stop TB Partnership, EANNASO conducted three CRG assessments:

  • TB/HIV Gender Assessment
  • Legal Environment Assessment
  • Data for Action Framework on Key, Vulnerable, and Underserved Populations

These assessments highlighted critical barriers such as limited healthcare access, disease-related stigma, lack of privacy protections, and the impact of patriarchal norms on women affected by TB. In response, a National CRG Action Plan was developed to address these challenges and implement key recommendations.
